Fantastic new opportunity to join Aviva as a Product Owner within the newly created Customer Data Management.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to play a major part in delivering the new customer data strategy!

We are seeking a strong data and change practitioner who has a proven track record in implementing a data strategy through technical solutions that delivers tangible benefits.

The successful applicant will actively engage teams across all business lines, relevant projects, marketing, digital, data science, architecture and engineering to define, plan and deliver a value-prioritised Master Data Management product for all Aviva customers as well as identifying areas of innovation and development.


Collaborate with business and project managers to define user stories and their translation into epics, converting these into technical requirements which feed into the customer data management roadmap

Champion the power of data to transform customer experience, improve business processes and guide future strategic direction

Proactively maintain product backlog, ensure alignment to wider strategy and oversee deliver plans

Exercise judgement in applying strong customer and data principles in assuring the quality of product increments, while balancing with competing priorities

Become a subject matter expert on the strategic master data management eco-system and the business rules that enable the marketing and digital experienced.

Skills & Experience

Experience in utilising technology to deliver strong data outcomes, preferably to enable single customer view and downstream processing inc. engaging and/or reporting on customers

Experience in data migrations and reintegration of data into the eco-system
Strong understanding of data principles inc. exploitation of data for operational, regulatory and/or strategic progress

Good understanding of financial services, preferably insurance

Salary of circa £60,000 depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications
